2025 Updates

Stay in the know, review the full list of event updates here.

Following each Fieldays event, we go through a process of reviewing the layout, systems, processes, criteria and exhibiting terms. It is important that you are aware of the changes before booking a site.

Rural Living Outdoor

More Rural Living Outdoor sites have been added at the start of B Street.

Food Court 1

Food Court 1 layout is being improved, and Good Union Bar will now be accessible from F Street.

Fieldays Hauora Taiwhenua Health & Wellbeing Hub

The Fieldays Hauora Taiwhenua Health & Wellbeing Hub outdoor footprint has been expanded.

Fieldays Sustainability Hub

The Fieldays Sustainability Hub will not return in 2025. Instead, our exhibitors will continue to highlight their sustainability initiatives directly at their sites, allowing visitors to learn about environmentally responsible practices firsthand as part of their overall experience.

Fieldays Digital Futures

The Fieldays Digital Futures is taking a hiatus for 2025.

Late Payment Fees

Late payment fees are being introduced to deter exhibitors from making late payments of their invoices without a payment plan in place. The Society relies on income from site fees to stand the event up, and the timing of when the income is received is important to ensure we run an efficient event. Payment of site fees also secures the exhibitor for the event, allowing the Society to have the best offering for Fieldays to our attendees.

Using Fieldays Trade Marks

The period when Fieldays Trade Marks can be used has been amended to enable Exhibitors to promote non-sales promotional activity from site acceptance to 30th June 2025. Fieldays Trade Marked sales incentivised promotional activity can only commence three weeks prior to the event, starting 21st of May and ending 30th of June.

Subletting

A revised subletting process has been introduced, featuring two sublet options. Sublet fees will no longer include power and Exhibitor tickets, resulting in lower fees with greater flexibility and transparency.

Fundraising for Charities

Terms have been added for main Exhibitors wishing to fundraise for their given charity at their site. Please review Clause 9.11 - Fundraising for charities, which in summary states that fundraising at your site is permitted with written approval from the Society at least 10 working days before the event, provided the Charity has registered as a Sublet. Charity activities should complement, not overshadow your main exhibit.

Food Vendors

  • Maximum site size for Food Vendors implemented to be 9m (w) x 6m (d).
  • Food Vendors are now permitted to sell coffee.

Clothing and Apparel

Please review Clause 3.3 which states that for Exhibitors selling clothing, apparel and/or accessories to be eligible for a site in the Agri-business area, their products' primary design purpose needs to be outdoor work-related, hunting, fishing or farming wear, wet weather gear, or health and safety.
