Grey water
What is grey water? ‘Grey water’ is water that has been used for washing dishes, laundering clothes, or bathing.
Disposal information for your site
If you have grey water disposal requirements, please specify these by completing the SITE ADD-ONS - Power, Water and Grey Water Order Form in the Exhibitor Portal. Log in to the Exhibitor Portal.
Grey water disposal
A receptacle for the disposal of grey water is provided at each Food Court. This is emptied nightly throughout the event. Disposing grey water directly on the ground, or in the storm water drains, regardless of the quantity, is prohibited.
Exhibitors not within a Food Court please note that completing the form flags to our team that you have a receptacle that requires emptying – we do not provide the receptacle. Please ensure your receptacle is sufficient to house your grey water requirements for the full day, as these are only cleared at night. To arrange for this to be emptied, you must ensure you complete the required form within the deadline period.
Cooking oil disposal
Oil drums and funnels are provided at each Food Court to dispose of cooking oils. Exhibitors found to be dumping grey water or cooking oil in any other location/method, may be closed for the remainder of Fieldays and/or you may be excluded from future events.
