Transport and Parking
Getting to Fieldays, parking and more.
A guide for exhibitors and their staff on getting to Fieldays and tips on how to avoid the bulk of traffic at the end of the day!
Transport and Parking
Arrive early to avoid traffic delays
We encourage exhibitors to carpool to help us reduce the event's emissions and impact on the environment. Less cars on the road means less traffic too.
Please make sure to frequently check the Waka Kotahi Traffic Dashboard as this provides the most up-to-date traffic information.
For the general public: All information on transport options to and from Fieldays can be found here.
Parking
Fieldays offers free parking for exhibitors during pack-in, the Fieldays event, and during pack-out. Please see the Event Timetable for information on access dates and times.
Departing Fieldays each day
Departure at peak times will result in delays for your staff exiting the venue. To allow your staff working at the event to avoid peak-traffic congestion, the Good George Bar & Eatery (located on the corner of M and V roads at the bottom of Gate 2 hill) is available for exhibitor-only access from 5 pm to 8 pm Wednesday to Friday. Exhibitors are required to show their valid exhibitor ticket to gain entry. This is a good opportunity to allow your on-site staff time to relax, socialise and refuel with food and beverages for purchase. Learn more about where to eat.
When exiting through from Gate 5, traffic control restrictions may require you to turn left and travel along Mystery Creek Road in the Cambridge direction. From here, you can take Mellow Road to Kaipaki Road and then proceed to SH3 if needed.
