Fieldays hours

We look forward to seeing you at Fieldays from Wednesday, 13 June to Saturday, 16 June, 2018. Gates open daily Wednesday to Friday  8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 4pm.

Getting here

Fieldays is held at Mystery Creek, 125 Mystery Creek Road, Hamilton, New Zealand.

Mystery Creek is a convenient 15 minutes from Hamilton’s CBD, 2 minutes from Hamilton Airport, 17 minutes or 15.5km to the Novotel in Hamilton city, Te Awamutu and Cambridge, and just over 1.5 hours from Auckland, Tauranga and Rotorua.

Please follow signs and obey traffic & law enforcement as you approach Fieldays.

Suggested routes:

 

 

1. Tauranga, Rotorua, Tokoroa, Taupo
Exit off SH1 at the Cambridge Golf Hill exit and follow the detour around Cambridge.

2. Thames, Paeroa, Te Aroha, Morrinsville
Use SH26, turn left onto SH1B (Hoeka Road), right onto Tauwhare Road, straight through Tamahere interchange roundabouts along SH21 (Airport Road) to Gate 0.

3. Auckland
Use SH1 and follow detour onto SH1B (Hoeka Road), right onto Tauwhare Road, straight through Tamahere interchange roundabouts, along SH21 (Airport Road) to Gate 0.

4. Hamilton
Use SH1 (Kahikatea Drive), turn right onto SH3 (Ohaupo Road), left onto SH21 (Airport Road), right onto Mystery Creek Road.

5. Ohaupo, Te Awamutu, Kihikihi, Otorohanga
Use SH3, turn right onto Kaipaki Road, left onto Mellow Road and left onto Mystery Creek Road for parking at Gate 5.

The above routes have been suggested by Traffic Management NZ.

Parking

Parking at Fieldays is free and are open from 5.30am – 10pm. To avoid queues we recommend arriving nice and early.  We do our best to get you in and out of car parks as fast as possible but due to high volume of traffic, there may be some delays.

Disabled Parking:

There is disabled parking available through Gate 1 for CCS Mobility Parking Permit holders. You will also need to be in possession of valid Fieldays entry tickets.

Buses

FREE regular buses will run for the duration of Fieldays from The Base and Hamilton Central to Mystery Creek. Timetable information will be available closer to the time.

Alternative transport

By Helicopter 

There is a designated helicopter landing zone beside the Waikato River jetty (near Gate 7). Our preferred supplier is Helicorp. Information on arranging flights can be viewed found on their website or contact Helicorp on 07 843 3447.

By Boat

Avoid the traffic and travel by boat. Visit waikatoexplorer.co.nz or camjet.co.nz for details and to book. 

Where to eat

A range of food and beverages to tempt your appetite are located in four large food hubs around the venue. Choose from hearty pasta or pizza, fresh New Zealand seafood, or internationally inspired dishes from Asia, Europe, America and England, or stick to show favourites, hotdogs and chips with lashings of tomato sauce.

Nomad Espresso Bars are located in various spots throughout Fieldays.
